The English Trombone Consort entertain audiences with a rich variety of music from many different styles. Programmes include familiar melodies that have been arranged especially for the group (such as Amazing Grace), original music composed for trombone quartet (for example the Sonata by Daniel Speer (1636-1707) and Myths and Legends by Eric Ewazen (b. 1954)), arrangements of orchestral, choral and chamber music (e.g. Achieved Is The Glorious Work from Haydn's Creation) and pieces written in a jazzy style (e.g. Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?). Tunes familiar and some that are new but always something for everyone.
